Marking on glass is simple. You either need it to be removable or permanent.
Glass manufacturers often have an absolutely non-flammable ingredient requirement (by choice) for workplace safety standards. This is where the NF variety of water removable markers comes in handy.
Very often a batch or code-number is affixed to the glass as it rolls along the factory. When it is removed, it needs to come off without leaving any ghosting at all. If there is a ghost, these guys wont use the marker.
